From an early age when studying art at high school, Neal discovered his passion for sound. This led him to enroll at the Royal Institute for Theatre Cinema and Sound (RITCS) in Brussels in 2012. In 2016 he graduated as a sound engineer. During his studies Neal gained a lot of experience in the field. Besides his studies, he participated in many projects as a sound recordist. These projects were mainly documentaries, which offered a great challenge for on location sound mixing.

For Neal being a sound engineer is much more than creating high quality recordings. Location sound mixing is a process that requires adequate preparation, a flexible attitude, creative insight and pleasant co-working from pre- to postproduction.
